It's cool that Nostalrius are making their TBC source freely available on Github. The private server community is generally really lovely about sharing their work with each other.Clitch posted:Too bad this is probably a year out. That sounds like a really really really optimistic time estimate.

pretty cool that they have announced this. i hope it works out for them. man i have been hankering for some vanilla again. last summer was fun. it's too bad how the pubbie situation hosed over the alliance guild.

Started a Priest because I remember how badly good healers were needed. It's a head trip to go back to vanilla and how lovely and bad things are I love it. The best part is that it just runs. You download 5gb, extract, install and there you go. It's wonderful.

We're all starting up in PlayTBC in april which barely over a month away. If that's anything but total dogshit I can't imagine it not having a bunch of people play it. Servers that come out after the first good one have to do a hell of a lot to not fall by the wayside. See: Kronos.
