obviously some animals are more intelligent than others. crows, for example, r supposed to be smart af. killer whales as well. and of course elephants. anyway, how intelligent would an animal have to be before you'd feel guilty killing it?

I think all animals are more intelligent than people. Call me crazy, just a feeling I get. I feel bad about killing any of them but I usually only kill spiders because they're horrible.

When you say killing it, do I have to be personally responsible for it's death like I actually had to slit it's throat or something or can it be like general non-legally culpable negligence and callous disregard for their safety, again, in a non-legally culpable way. Because I would be ok if like a bodyguard took a fatal bullet for me or using someone as a human shield or something along those lines.
