This thread is about that local treat known in the philadelphia area as "Scrapple" What it is is some kind of congealed scrap meat mash mixed with cornmeal and flour cut into rectangular blobs, ready to be sliced and fried! In the act: I like to fry up some slices and put it on a roll with peppers, onions cooked in the pan with a piece of provolone cheese. So I ask the goons, what is your favorite scrapple dish?

Cincinnati apparently has something similar called Goetta but it's made with oats rather than corn meal and I've never tried it.
