Hey two shutouts in a row for the Mariners  Taijuan pitched well, Cano got 4 hits, Cruz socked a dinger. It's like how the team was supposed to play when this roster was set up!

They're screwed, but for what it's worth, that math is off a bit. Currently 36-42 with 84 games left in the season. 86 wins would take going 50-34 the rest of the way - a .595 clip. Guess it depends on how you parse "play like the Cardinals", but it doesn't matter anyway, since they're not playing .595 baseball either. Replace "Cardinals" with "Royals" though and it's more or less spot on.
