Fire may be useful if it were delivered as napalm or something. But a traditional flamethrower would be pretty easy to defend against.

Well if it is an open fire fed by a conventional hydrocarbon like kerosene it wouldn't be effective... everybody knows jet fuel doesnt burn hot enough to melt steel, adoyyyy

Most of the ones i saw that did really well were just a really durable wedge and close to the ground, and they'd just flip opponents over and be indestructible.
