AVGN is actually the least autistic of the internet entertainment reviewers. i guess thats like ironic or something? (im not counting Red Letter Media or Every Frame a Painting as "internet entertainment reviewers", because they both know how to produce and edit stuff professionally)

The avgn film wasn't great but it was still leagues above kickassia and the other awful films that followed it. And it's because James Rolfe is a fan of films, made them as a kid, and studied them as an adult while Doug Walker is just some rear end that screeches at movies.

I liked the one he did on the Tom & Jerry movie. The shtick can work well when it's making fun of something that's actually very bad, and not trying to stretch that into something else. I can see why all the other poo poo might suck eggs and also dicks though, especially a movie. I think I bailed on trying to enjoy the site after he played up Baby Geniuses 2 as being the apocalypse of all media and even recorded himself yelling at strangers at a convention because he knew the end times were here, because of Baby Geniuses 2.

The only bad movie thing I've ever been able to tolerate much less enjoy is We Hate Movies, because it's three guys who are actually funny just talking about a movie and having a good time and since it's a podcast you don't have to watch their ugly mugs or sit through terrible sketches and can listen to it while you do other things. That and they're like the only bad movie people who don't just do kids movies and horror movies and tired poo poo like Troll 2 ot The Room, some of their best shows are about batshit Lifetime movies or lovely 90s indie movies or gonzo 60s political satires.
