Last year the Wiggins/Parker game was absurdly jammed and had a bunch of people with tickets for the day who couldn't get in (they literally would not let people already in the gym leave to go to the bathroom), but it was in the tiny gym. If you like me haven't watched Smart much since he was in college, rest assured that he is a still a flopping dillhole. He just had one that would have made Manu proud after Exum lightly brushed against him. It was amazing.

thanks for the updates btw. Since tuning in Exum looks like he's the crucial piece in the game, he's at the center of everything for the Jazz whether off or on the ball. But im very biased

It's been a really good last few minutes, and he's looked good from about midway through the 2nd quarter on. Before that Smart was bullying him, but he's more than held his own since. He's making an effort to get into the paint and create contact and has had some really nice passes (only some of which are not immediately bungled by the garbage big guys on the Jazz). It's summer league and he's a second year guy so he should look good, but Smart is a legit defender so it's pretty encouraging. If he's a little more willing to drive that will be a big step. He has a great first step and is super quick. He could tighten his handle a little and his shot is still a little flat, but he looks like he's making some progress.

Kaminsky is blocking out better today. When he is able to see the ball-handler on defense, he seems credible on team defense. If he ever has to spin or turn-around, though, he just gets lost. He does not appear to set solid screens.

This is pretty cool Feigen: Summer Rocket Denzel Livingston went from playing in park across street from Toyota Center to practicing inside. Livingston said he used to peak through the practice court curtains to see Rockets working out inside.
