The AssRaptor is better for shooting basestars, maybe move the unmanned to "defend" the civvies?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Pander used Command to launch a Viper, wouldn't Apollo be able to jump in and take an action of HIS own?

Which should I scout, crisis or destination? First action: ##activate command (gain two activations) (1) ##move viper in Echo to Delta (2) ##launch another viper to Echo

I'd say destination, since I've always considered it a 'soft' check on the Admiral's loyalty and we're not really in a situation where we desperately need jump.

Both are good. I guess Crisis right now, since we're not that close to Jumping?

Well since you're the admiral, we don't really get any checking value out of you scouting destinations so I think crisis!

Unmanned Regular Viper in ECHO moves to DELTA. Unmanned Regular Viper launched into ECHO. Tigh plays Tactics-1 (Launch Scout). d8=6 PASS! Action Queue ==> Pander (Admiral Tigh): Keep or Bury Crisis Card.

Wouldn't mutiny cards be a little better versus 2 morale hits in the first two crises?

It risks sending two people to the Brig, but we aren't drowning in treachery yet so that's probably not too big of a risk.

More importantly it risks sending the Admiral and the Prez to the Brig, but in the end we have no clue who might or might not be loyal at present. At the same time I can't quite bring myself to give much of a poo poo about Morale at this stage.

Stelas posted:More importantly it risks sending the Admiral and the Prez to the Brig, but in the end we have no clue who might or might not be loyal at present. That's how it starts. It ends with quorum-farming hoping to find +1 morale to stave off random death from crisis cards.

If we need more Morale we can just fling Ellen out the airlock. Or do it just on principle I guess.

In the meantime, assuming nothing critical gets hit, I'm not really sure what to do on my turn. Anyone got fancier ideas than spitting out more unmanneds?

Could always get on Weapons and shoot the basestar? We should try to actually give a poo poo about DEFCON this game, see how it works out.

Is it worth seeing if Cocks will let us swap it out? It seems like it was honestly a knowledge gap and the Viper hasn't done anything meaningful yet. Side question: What rule modification means Mark VIIs start repaired and not damaged in this game? Is that part of DEFCON or something else?
