(or maybe go bowling or play pool if not athletic) go shopping go on hike do an community event (festival or fair) do community service type work (church or city organization, could be ecologial group too or helping animals)

it hleps to pick a thing from this lists that fits your dates interests and may also be interesting to you your date may feel special if you pick an event or activity that you think they may like based on your first few generic dates you could: go to a farmers market browse some local stores (local arts/boutique stores and music stores can be very neat) take a boat ride do horse riding lessons go skydiving go to a theme park go to the beach and many more!

you can also go to a family gathering (if you feel brave!) have a dinner at home and invite other friends have a party at your house take your date to a party take your date to a bar-b-q or cookout take your date to a dog park (if you have a dog) or some other fun thing!

and all of this is just off the top of my head!!! some girls like things that are different, look for different events such as spoken word poetry reading roller derby burlesque show piano or jazz bar evening dinner & show (play) event theatre in the park event botanical garden museum (or gallery)
