the stress test is loving STILL ongoing at 79mb, it's been like 5 god damned days that these guys have kept bitcoin transactions either needing to wait 14 hours or pay an extra 15 cents per transaction. if anyone was using bitcoin as a currency this would be an inexcusable failure of the entire protocol, but no one is using bitcoin.

i imagine it was pretty close to the minimum fee (0.0001 btc or around 3 cents). i think you can set a smaller or no fee, but it transmits at a significantly lower (or ignores) priority.

At the time of posting this LTC is at $4.25, where as when I went to bed last night it was at $8.80. I bought a large sum a few days at 6.24$ so I'd be lying if I said that what we are seeing today didn't scare me. But to be honest I think we all knew a backswing was coming. I mean come on, did we seriously think that this rocket ship was going straight to the moon without a hiccup? This is a bumpy ride and we are in our 1st bear trap of 2015. This happened in the preceding weeks of Nov. 2013 and it's happening again. I'm not saying that $48 is certain but the whole "perfect storm" idea we were coining a few days ago is still going. Chinese markets have not recovered, Greece is still looking awful, halving is in 40 something days, and LTC is still the largest altcoin by a long shot.

Stick through this folks, we have yet to see where this is really going to go.
