I never got why anyone was surprised/saddened when joe peshi character gets whacked in goodfellas. the dude is awful,stupid,unpredictable violent oval office the entire movie making massive problems for everyone. His death squel made me laugh. to bad they had to ruin a nice carpet with his retard brains. also i laughed at the pistol whipping scene.

Goodfellas is about mid to low-level soldiers and their capos. It's a totally different milieu. Godfather also glamorizes the gently caress out of the mob, while Goodfellas is actually realistic and mostly factual. Sorry your fairy tale idea of the mob isn't in Goodfellas. Goodfellas actually works as a docudrama about events like the Lufthansa heist. You can actually learn poo poo from it.
