It's Evo season again! JULY 17-19, 2015 BALLY'S / PARIS LAS VEGAS CASINO  New to Fighting Games and wanna watch the tournament? Check out this cool primer on what to look out for Evo is this weekend. Who's hype? For those not in the know, Evolution (Evo for short) is the largest and longest-running fighting game tournament in the world. There's over 2,000 entrants this year, and there's gonna be more excitement than ever. A bunch of goons including myself are also going to be in attendance, so if anyone is going and has questions or wants advice on how to make the most out of their Evo Experiencetm feel free to ask. BB top 8 was great. No idea if P4A will similarly turn out as hype this year, but I will watch it for Bananaken anyway. No KOF is weird to me. Was really getting used to see KOF on Evo again.

not gonna be there this year because i can't even afford to drive out and sleep in my car, look forward to watching streams all weekend. there are 5 games that i'd rather see replaced by kof but not because i hate them just because i love kof so much i might hate some of them

If an American doesn't win SF this year, America will never win SF ever  . Go Smug, Snake Eyez, Dieminion et al (hell I guess I've gotta root for the American EG players too)I'm still kinda disappointed there's no Smash 4 on finals day but iirc the weird scarf dude has been literally undefeated since the game came out so it's kind of a foregone conclusion. Anyone who didn't expect MK10 to turn out like that didn't pay enough attention to MK9 and Injustice. The entire reason to watch Marvel 3 the past few years has been the extreme catharsis of watching Justin bust through all that Zero May Cry.
