the yostop is a fully bootable gentoo system but somewhere i've hosed up and there are no network interfaces, probably have to boot back to the livecd and make sure i grab proper driver firmware

Not that I care at all about that stupid piece of junk, but I bet it probably has staph and fungal infected skin plastering the keyboard from all the disgusting IT workers that have fiddled it over the years. Why would anyone want to even touch that thing, let alone have it in the loving house.
