There was this bike path that narrowed at one point with a tall fence on both sides, so I'd always take it and feel like I just managed to escape at the end like they do. That's my dumb geeky anecdote for today.

The SaGa games have good music. I've only played Final Fantasy Legend I, but stopped because it was hilariously indecipherable, translation-wise and mechanically. Maybe I should skip to Romancing SaGa, but I hear they're all obtuse.

man did the final fantasy games that aren't actually final fantasy games have good music FFL3 was my first-ever JRPG, inherited from some guy. I had no idea what the hell was going on and couldn't ever get off the starting island (I couldn't figure out how to use "float") so instead I just bummed around in his nearly-complete save file and explored a world that had already been saved with my endgame-ready party. I found the final boss, once! then I died.
