Howdy everyone! Don't you miss the days of having our leader/mascot around, punching up threads with his acerbic wit, dropping bans for laughs, and quoting Robocop a lot? I sure do. That's why I've decided, through absolutely no authority vested in me by the administrators of these fine web forums, to hold elections for his replacement. Old Lowtax has moved on. We miss him, but the time for mourning is past. Voting begins immediately. Just make a post clearly indicating the candidate you believe will make the best new Lowtax. Open to all Something Awful forums members currently active (not banned/perma'd & at least one post in the last 30 days) with the exception of the outgoing incumbent, Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka. You are also free to campaign in this thread as well. For example: Voting for [candidate]. They sure are funny and I'd buy that for a dollar!! Voting concludes on Tuesday, July 28th at 8:00pm Pacific. If you need to change your vote, make sure your post is edited before then. Winner, should they accept the responsibilities of the position, will be bestowed with a shiny new pig image custom title declaring their status as reigning Lowtax! Duties include, but are not limited to, 1) being vocally disgusted with goons, 2) spreading high quality posts around many different subforums, 3) engaging goons in real life in fun ways, such as having them mail you sex toys, or talking to them in airports, 4) making fun & funny photoshops, gifs, & videos, and 5) quoting iconic 80s action films Good luck to all, and may the best Lowtax win!
