Weird, I can't remember seeing that before. Ball hit the top of the padded wall at Kauffman, caromed into this little metal fence (also part of the wall), bounced off of that and into the bullpen. They're reviewing it now, I don't know why it wouldn't be a dinger but they're taking a look. e: Ruled a double, wonder what the reasoning behind that is?

He's out, because for him to be able to advance to 1st when the 3rd strike isn't caught, 1st base must be open, or there must be 2 outs. Neither of those conditions were true. Normally, the runners could advance, but after the third strike, the ball struck Piscotty's foot, making the ball dead and preventing anyone from advancing.
