I lived with a girl and her sister who made fursuits. They were really well made and they even did a few videos of the process. The roommate sister made a fursuit and auctioned it and paid for a week long trip to Spain. Oh I also went to high school with a furry who had a cockroach fursona

There are no cool furries, just furries that are better at hiding it. They're all some combination between being such sad ugly sacks of human that they imagine themselves as powerful, special beings. The other side being that these guys are a bunch dog fuckers. So yeah OP, that's why they're mostly dog-esque, bunch of dog fuckers.
