Imagine 4 cigarettes in a pack, OP. When you take one out and smoke it, you move the butt to the end so as not to litter. The other fags move to take its place. That's kind of how quitting works.

Go into the kitchen and make yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Take it into the living room, sit in your favorite chair and listen to the radio while eating the sandwich. You can also look out of the window as you do these things. hth
