A woman from a poor country in Africa or Eastern Europe comes to Germany or the Netherlands to make a better life for herself and finds a job where she makes insane amounts of money and somehow this is a crime against humanity and she's the one being exploited?

I think I the opinion expressed by the women in the op is wrong too. I just think using the argument that one woman is a 'lady who shows her tits on TV' to invalidate her opinion isnt a coherent or helpful or good faith argument and I think it reflects a gender bias in the way men and women's opinions are treated.

corpuscollossus posted:I don't think legalizing depravity helps anyone 'depravity' is subjective... also bullshit in this context. it's just sex. it's a basic function of life, and humans attaching all this moral gravitas to it when it's between consenting adults is objectively, intellectually stupid people possessing a 'good' that is in demand should be allowed to sell it on their own terms, and profit, so long as it does not harm society. sex does not harm society. prostitution is our species' oldest profession, and will always exist in some form or fashion. making it illegal really only creates victims, because then prostitutes by necessity are pimped by criminal elements, whom are their own authority, and obviously abuse follows naturally if prostitution was legal, it would enjoy all the benefits of lawful oversight and protection. the abuse that's typical of criminal prostitution would effectively be ended vyst posted:She's just mad nobody would pay money to have sex with her ninotoreS fucked around with this message at 21:24 on Jul 26, 2015 |

Prostitution is like drugs. They should be legal, because a consenting adult has a right to sell their body, or smoke/snort/inject drugs. But neither vices contribute anything positive to society, and are very damaging in my opinion. People use drugs to escape reality instead of confronting their own reality and making it something that they want to experience. Men use prostitutes to cheat on their wives, which challenges the integrity of marriage in the US, or they are men who are socially and mental broken to the point where interacting with women or trying to court them will only end in tears. Men who are cheating on their wives should be shamed and penalized. Men who are unable to find a regular mate, should be given therapy, social etiquette class's, and maybe a stipend depending on the severity of their social illness. The only thing that bugs me about this is that women like Lena Dunham pretend to care about trafficking victims, but she really doesn't. The reason women like her, and others despise prostitution is because it takes away men who would otherwise spend money, time, and resources on them in some futile attempt to get laid.

Like why do some people sell their bodies for 8 hours to a corporation that's ok but if a woman wants, totally rationally and without coercion obviously, to sell her body to gently caress suddenly its a moral issue? I mean like come on people it's sex, it's not like its some special thing, it's just like bolting on a fender, but with your oval office.

Sex is very easy to get without payingI'm Crap posted:the dutch system is the largely the same as the new zealand one btw, they just never enforce it unless a property developer needs to acquire a former brothel on the cheap Maybe, but sweden is also highly sexually liberated and feministic so you find yourself sharing payment for dates, not having to buy drinks and just generally having sex without some weird man must pay man must be stronk and have high status-mentality or slut shaming mentality. Feminism is like just awesome for having lots of free, powerbalanced, casual sex i dont get why men feel so emasculated by it. The funniest thing is seeing american men like roosh who doesnt understand this and is angry as gently caress that he has no success by trying too hard to be the most awesome guy in the room, so he tries even harder next time. if he just stopped trying he would get laid so much since sex isnt some weirdo currency thing. Be laid back yo. Also prostitution is wrong and weird and people shouldnt pay for sex or sell for sex, maybe disabled fat guys could get some sort of free pass or something. Strip clubs are also weird and basically all of usa is incredibly weird about sex.

Here's one WEIRD trick doctors DON'T want you to know about : the easiest way to keep a married man from cheating is for his wife to put out more. It's pretty ridiculous to say that you can sell your body to a job that'll slowly destroy it over a decade or two (like working in a shipyard, for example, or around carcinogenic chemicals), but not to engage in safe sex, which is harmless and a net positive to society.

Below average height, black but not "urban" or "swagged out". If I had been introduced to red pill philosophy at a younger age I would not be here now. I would have looks maxed after high school, and realized the importance of a solid social circle. Now it's too late. Every one I grew up with that could be called a friend is entering their careers, married/long term relationshiped with kids. When it's all said and done I spend less money here than the average America guy taking out women on "dates". I know guys that are gamers who spend thousands of dollars on games and merchandise a year and theirs nothing with it because it's their choice. This is my choice. Also notice how men are shamed for spending money on their hobbies, but spending lots of money on a women is "being a gentlemen".

Most prostitutes don't choose to be prostitutes like actresses choose to act. Although I guess you could make a case for actor kids who have stage parents that force them to act, but even that is better than being kidnapped when you are a preteen, brought to whatever country you're oval office is needed and forced to gently caress filthy perverts for the rest of your life.
