Moon Atari posted:Its a good thing that the fat modelling phenomena will force a few women into the lifestyle of a specialist athlete, where they must exercise to maintain their skin tone and reasonably photogenic fat distribution, but they must eat an absurd diet to prevent themselves from losing the weight their career depends upon. Literally force feeding themselves and supplementing with high carb bulk up shakes, for the benefit of the average insecure fat person who doesn't make that effort but just lives a lazy lifestyle. It's a good thing those insecure fat people won't realise the difference in their lifestyles and will instead assume they must be fat for similar reasons, and just look at how happy and fit my roll models all are.

Fat people should not run actually. They should use ellipticals or bikes to avoid further disturbing their already-dangerously-inflamed knees. But regardless they should do one of those things two to three times a week combined with a healthy diet and occasional free-weight exercises. #truthbomb

Fatkraken posted:a 20 minute mile ain't really running lady. Good on you for the exercise and all, but that's a comfortable walking pace. I can't wait for her Ironman attempt. She's doing a half in less than three months. 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, 13.1-mile run under 9 hours. In less than 3 months. And as of now, she's unable to stop her bike without either falling or throwing herself to the side.

I don't even understand how jogging a 20 min/mi is supposed to work, and my easy runs are real slow. Most people aim for 15 min/mi when taking a brisk walk. "Jogging" at pace slower than that is just pumping your legs twice for every one step you take.

To pass air assault school in the Army, you have to do a 12 mile ruck march in less than 3 hours. With a bunch of poo poo in your ruck and carrying your weapon. This person is moving slower than that, for 2 miles.

They mention there are over 1500 members, and they took 10 weeks to get the 2800 miles. Which works out to 0.026 miles or 140 feet per person per day.
