It's pretty easy to do a manual transfer box. I went full auto though... haven't put a generator in yet, but I have the ATS in-circuit along with a full-building disconnect switch upstream of it. IIRC this is the unit I got. http://www.amazon.com/Generac-RTSR100A3-120-240V-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B00C2LV8TM

Forgot there was now a transaxle laying in the floor of my garage, walked out there barefoot and without turning a light on to grab something. Toes are supposed to turn purple, right?

Super Aggro Crag posted:Moderate? They were easily 500+ lbs each and took 4 of us to carry. Not denying that I am fat as poo poo and outta shape tho. Although I have dropped 30 lbs sonce last year. My boss just called me a pussy cuz I passed on the J he rolled. 500lbs divided by 4 people is still only 125lbs each. Hit the gym.

It's not that big of a deal to me to wheel it out there, plug it in, start the generator, and flip the switch.

Told the guy who wants the Civic it's just not ready and he's like "It's cool bro, I still want it, just call me when it's done." So that's cool I guess.

Hit the gym. Personally, I probably couldn't lift 125 lbs, at least not easily. Especially going up stairs. Tried to lift a 36" CRT TV that someone left on a curb that said "FREE TV WORKS GREAT" today, figure it's not much heavier. Couldn't lift it enough to get it in the car. CRT or not, it'd make a good garage TV. Our 36" CRT TV in the den takes 3 people to move, but it's a (old) HDTV, so I figure it weighs a bit more.
