I've been out of the game for a while, but it seems like unnecessary XOs before we get a handle on folk is still a bad idea? I'm not being accusatory I just don't know how much the rationale has changed recently.

In general you're probably right, but that would be a hell of cylon play to soft reveal on turn 1.

But no, I'm afraid I'm not your enemy. I'm not sold that the best strategy is to just feed XOs on the first round of actions. I took the least immediately useful card in my hand to move into a position to better utilize my title. And you'll have to trust that I wouldn't blindly discard an XO if I didn't have to.
