Maybe TAIL rather than Giant, but giant is more consistent (being an actual organism instead of a part of an organism) but Giant could be considered imaginary, Tail isn't.

I was thinking of a laser tripwire alarm like in spy movies.

I thought about round, too, but it's more loosely connected than I like. Round and tick are choices I can make a weak argument for, but I think tick might also fall under the other team's previous clue.

edit: Gonna go work my lovely night job so I won't be available for the rest of the clue period.
