Well, that was awful but not unwatchably awful. What about that other one I've heard about? It's got giant robots in it so it can't be that awful.

Why do I make such terrible decisions?! (Two episodes counts as 'watched,' right? I couldn't stomach any more. Don't make me watch more! )

I don't know what any of this is but the Ray Romano pic made me laugh because im imagine his voice on top of the image

Oh, I thought it was a jab at Everybody Loves Raymond, where everybody understandably hate the main character, but he inexplicably interprets himself as the center of the universe.

Western animations are really fun and cool nowadays, I recommend Gravity Falls for a serialized mystery story and the very recent We Bare Bears which is basically a western take on Shirokuma Cafe.

Beck is good. One of my favorite coming-of-age stories. I'd do the thing, but it's been so long that I don't remember what I expected.

I think the anime's music is good enough to justify watching it, then reading it to continue the story. It helps to set the atmosphere, though they perhaps rely overly much on a few tracks.

I am biased, though, because of which version I began with.

I thought it was going to be more of a slice-of-life, quick comic sketch thing with some kind of drag gimmick but it had more plot than I thought it would and didn't take itself too seriously.

There's a lot of long pauses for the characters when they're outdoors so yeah. It was also way more methodically paced than I expected but it's still great. The music is awesome.

Every time someone suggests a cartoon to me it either seems to be trying to be south park (which I don't really like) or is a kid's show with a fanbase of weird grown men.
