 FANTASY FOOTBALL IS HERE! We're doing a 12-man Yahoo Keeper league with a $30 buy-in. We started I'm sending out emails and PMs to all of last year's players. I'll update the team list as it goes along. GO! # SA - Yahoo 1. internet inc - mr. noodles - RENEWED  2. Gyshall - The Green Bastards - RENEWED 8. 5436 - CronutInYoMouth - RENEWED 9. dewey7788 - Cutty Does It - RENEWED 10. moghow - no more mr nice guy - RENEWED 11. Respekt 12. dalstrs - NEW GUY = PAIDRULES: Snake draft QB, WR, WR, W/R/T, RB, RB, TE, K, D/ST, 6x BN 3 keepers per year (max) and I'm blocking the first 2 rounds for keepers status since we voted to keep players as long as we want. 3 divisions, 6 playoff spots with 3 byes. #1 seed of every division advances, the other 3 go into the playoffs with their overall records. In other words, we could have playoffs with all of division 1 and the winners of division 2 and 3. Waiver period is 2 days and will work as a continual rolling list, meaning you can hold on to your waiver pick for as long as you want. The penalty for keeper status is +1 draft round per year and you can keep these players for as long as you want. Payouts will be 60% for the playoff winner, 30% for second place, and 10% for third place. I will be collecting your money through PayPal. My PayPal is still internet.incorporated at Google's mail service. I'm hoping everyone comes back for season 3 since it's a little harder to find new players in keepers leagues. If not, I already have a friend's name to take the first spot available. Then I guess I can start taking names? Doodle schedule thing coming soon for the draft date/time. Looks like we're short one player. Here's It's All Good Man's roster if you're happy with that dalstrs, the spot is yours. Mark Sanchez, undrafted. Julian Edelman, 5th round. Denard Robinson, undrafted. Frank Gore, 3rd round. Steven Jackson, 6th round. Jimmy Graham, 1st round. CJ Anderson, undrafted. Colin Kaepernick, 4th round. Larry Fitzgerald, 2nd round. Justin Hunter, 7th round. Ronnie Hillman, undrafted. Zach Ertz, 8th round. Adrian Peterson, 1st round. Adam Vinatieri, 14th round. Cincinnati DEF, 13th round. Since I wrote all that text, I'll use it to give an exemple of how keeper penalties work. If dalstrs wants to keep Julian Edelman, he would have to give up a 4th round pick since the penalty is +1 round every year. To keep Mark Sanchez, he would have to give up a 12th round pick because that's the default round for undrafted players. If he wanted to keep 2 or 3 undrafted players, he would give up his 12th round pick, then his 11th for his second undrafted keeper and 10th for all 3 undrafted keepers. He cannot keep Jimmy Graham or Larry Fitzgerald because they were drafted in the first and second rounds. He cannot keep Adrian Peterson because he was also drafted in the first round. It doesn't matter that Peterson was dropped at any point during the last season, if he was drafted at in the first 2 rounds, you can't keep him. Here are the players you cannot keep for this season, in no particular order: Jamaal Charles, Randall Cobb, Dez Bryant, Matt Forte, Vincent Jackson, Aaron Rodgers, Doug Martin, Calvin Johnson, Drew Brees, Demaryius Thomas, LeSean McCoy, Jimmy Graham, Larry Fitzgerald, Adrian Peterson, Alfred Morris, AJ Green, Julio Jones, Arian Foster, Peyton Manning, DeMarco Murray, Rob Gronkowski, Toby Gerhart, Marshawn Lynch, and Brandon Marshall. To set your keepers go to your team page and hit the keeper tab. Check maximum 3 keepers before August 30. Don't forget last year we implemented 1 IR spot per team for actual real life IR players. I think all trades must be reviewed to be accepted, if not, I'll make sure the option is enabled to prevent cheating and all that. I have 2 friends in this league and I don't want anyone to think we're doing shady poo poo. Plus, I don't know if any of you are related or friends or whatever. If you want to help, try to think of any situation that might come up regarding keeper players so that we find solutions before the problems come up during the season. Last year someone picked up Peterson hoping they would be able to give up a 12th rounder for him in this year's draft. It was never meant to work that way but it wasn't explained clearly and I don't want that to happen again. I'm open to other rule changes.
