Eliminator is back for its 12th season! Welcome back emails will go out to existing players in a week or so, but I've been getting enough questions that I decided to put up the thread now. What is eliminator? A free game I've been running in SAS/TFF since 2004. It contains survival mode, pick'em, reverse and spread variants, and has a fake money betting mode called funbuck that allows spread, moneyline, over/under, and parlay betting. This was the year the Saints had suddenly become good. Unfortunately the ghost of Archie Manning put a hex on the team and they went down, taking 76 brave souls with them. (The hex was made more powerful by Archie not being dead.) 27.86% survived. 2010 Week 16 The latest mass elimination in the history of the game. 6 of the top 8 teams (ordered by # of bets) went down in flames and only 20.9% survived. 2013 Week 10 Jaguars beat Titans. I remember a few years ago the Browns opened against the Bengals and the Browns were supposed to finally be good while the Bengals were trash and I thought lol I'll do it and the Browns got the poo poo kicked out of them while the Bengals I think were a playoff team that year e: It was 2011 now that I look

Otherwise probably nothing major (although historically I usually get annoyed by something and add a few smaller features during the season). If history is any indicator, the next major revamp of the project will be in a year or two when I become too ashamed of the current codebase.

I've been playing for years and I still can't really wrap my head about Reverse Spread Pickem. That game type is just a poo poo show of silliness. Reverse pick'em is *clearly* the game of choice. (maybe this year I'll make my reverse and regular pick'ems the same) Thanks for hosting again Rura!

I remember one season (before everything was all in one site) I had an eliminator account and a reverse eliminator account, and I blew both games in the first week so I tried to just go reverse in my regular account and regular in my reverse account and I blew both games the second week

In for my seventh season of this and week one of regular eliminator is maybe the most I've ever struggled with this. Lots of home underdogs and divisional games are really interfering with the usual rules of thumb.
