Ok, I've stalled as long as possible. Sorry to the 3 people who haven't checked in yet but I've got to boot you for the wait list since we are down to the wire, which is pretty standard for this league.

Based on stated availability it looks like the draft will be on the 5th. How does 7pm est sound to people? I'll schedule it for that on espn and see who complains. Also SEND ME AND Fight Club Sandwich YOUR drat EMAILS SO I CAN INVITE YOU!

Currently active teams please change your team name to something with your username so I can identify and remove the now defunct teams from ESPN. Currently there's almost no way to identify some of you.

Sweet, thanks! 5th @ 7pm sounds great. Will send you both a PM.

Thanks. OxySnake got his email in really early so I added him to NUDL, then removed the legacy owners which I guess wiped his ownership as well. In the interim we invited you to the league in that slot

OxySnake will now have Vigo the Butch as soon as he cuts out his mask

I'm hoping for justification to go through my anthology all over again!

Noodle Implements is a great name though. Olly Wolly.... keeps going through my head but it feels too easy.

I was looking through last season's thread to try and figure out what type of team to draft. Does it make sense to draft for this like you would any other normal league and then be ready to use waivers to claim gimmick players week-to-week, or does drafting a "great team" not really matter much due to all the modifiers and rules?

Basically, do I need to read up on the rankings and schedules and whatever to be prepared, or does a picking-on-the-fly team have as good a chance as any?

Were top-tier QBs/WRs/RBs still generating the bulk of the points last year with the special rules like punt return yards adding a little boost to the top, or was it inverted with wacky line-ups dominating? I guess I could review last year on the ESPN to get a better idea, but :effort:

Just don't want to be too laissez-faire about drafting and end up with a bust squad that has to scramble a ton to be competitive most weeks. :ohdear:

There were punters drafted in the sixth round or so..it wasn't super serious. And if your squad sucks, use your weekly rule to change the scoring to benefit your team. Make interceptions worth 9999 points and start Kirk Cousins.
