Also colleges dont care about students' health: once they are out of the program the college isnt liable. So they want everyone to play through injuries they shouldnt, and they produce athletes far above a healty weigt and then turnthem loose with no help getting into solid health Easterbrook suggested every big collece football student get an extra year, free ride to attend the school after they have used up their sports eligibility. Gives them time tofinish out a real degree, make professional contacts, and utilize the student health program

giving them a stipend is a good idea but once you start paying them with w2s and all that it gets questionable you dont go to college to get paid but football takes up so much time that they cant have outside jobs so a stipend solves that
