My disdain for you all knows no bounds.

...what? Did I miss an episode somewhere explaining...any of what happened in that last video? That seemed like a really bizarre non-sequitur anti-climax, even for being a sidequest in this game.

Basically Yusha went to a place he wasn't supposed to go to (You aren't even notified that you've unlocked the Goddess Resort area once you beat the game.) Time Goddess didn't want to let him in. Yusha got nosy and wouldn't go away, so the Time Goddess sicced a hard quest on him. Yusha beat it, and found out what the Time Goddess was trying to hide. (failed Time Goddess merchandise.) She decides she wants a do over and manipulates time so that her failure never happened, and erased the memories of everyone living in the Goddess Resort. (if you talk to the NPCs, they won't remember what just happened.)

Oh yeah, it's actually completely impossible to pay off a Goddess Loan in this level. Because the game checks for it at the very end. So it's more of a way to fight the Debt Bird.

Here's artwork 76.

77 is supposed to be a colored version of this. No idea what 78 looks like.

Screw you, physics!
She should just open a casino.

Seriously, if there's anything this game has taught us, it is that heroes cannot ignore the siren's call of slot machines.

I'm not Amish by choice. 8(
Thanks for the clarification; I had the gist of it with the merchandise/dark secret thing, but the dialogue for much of that was...really clunky and uninformative, and it felt like I was misunderstanding it. Ah well.

Also, let's not kid ourselves,

You're already dead
Disappointed that some characters did not get artwork.
I don't know if some flag needs to be triggered, but when I saw Time Goddess in her room, she checked her surroundings and had an angry face. It was not when you showed her just moving her arms.
Show off all the extras. The Venus Seven attack show the same outfits you can dress TG in during missions.

Man, for a game called Half-Minute Hero you can sure take your time through it.

This definitely feels like an iteration of the original with some lessons learned and some feedback. I appreciate that they kind of iterated over the development of game protagonism as the generations passed, but I actually kind of miss the drastically variant gameplay you got out of Evil Lord/Knight/Princess 30. There's the occasional callback mission but it feels more like a reference than a genuine attempt at variation, and it feels like the Global Level system is a way to drop the grind back into a game they took the grind out of.

...though I suppose you can't chase gameplay variance too far, since ultimately, that way lies Warioware, and while Wario and the Time Goddess are absolutely identical in several key aspects, this series does a pretty good job where it is.

Glazius, you're the man/woman, but you have to stop bumping threads that are months old. I know you're just trying to spark conversation, but you're probably not going to find good discourse in a thread that people have already left alone.

This is also not good discourse.
