I think being goons we are overexposed to memes so what is lame and stale to us is just gaining traction out in the real world. It's a bias of some sort I'm sure but what I'm saying is just because you've heard it 1000x because you hang out on SA all day doesn't mean everyone has and odds are unless it is REALLY run into the ground it'll make people laugh.

You can have sex with college girls again if you tell them you will buy them alcohol.

yeah like right now if you really wanna make your pals laugh you should do some of the jet fuel cant melt steel beam stuff, i thought it was totally played but in the real lives of everyone who isnt us it is actually fresh and humorous and i mean it probably wont get you laid but you might make a new friend at the 7-11 when you go to buy one of their 7-11 melt sandwiches and go "hey your oven might melt this sandwich but did you know that jet fuel cant melt steel beams?" and everyone just busts a gut laughin and hi-fivin you, happens to me all the time

no bc that's just :tinfoil: stupid poo poo and also most people aren't going to think joking about 9/11 is funny (obviously).

lol if you think a well placed 'well he's def getting cucked' at a bar isn't going to draw laughs though.

That is 100% the case. You gotta keep your irl and your goon separated before you accidentally start telling your coworkers to killl themselves thinking itll come off as somewhat funny and lighthearted

Remember when there were only like 4 goons in TVIV who were all "there's this new pony show and it's surprisingly good" and there was also like 3 dudes who were like "hey watch me play a vidja game".

That's a pro rule to live by. Rick and Morty is actually pretty good, but I can totally understand you never watching it because I have a similar rule and only started watching it by accident

look, mr. poopy butthole isnt just some dumb crass joke, mr poopy butthole is a commentary on our TMZ-soaked media and how it worms its way into our subconscious without us even knowing. the shooting script had mr. poopy butthole named harvey levin until fox threatened to sue.

Riot Bimbo

I know it's crazy but some people find it fun to discuss and investigate dumb poo poo like the nature of a character even when it's probably just a dumb one off joke character literally named Mr. Poopybutthole. It's even less dumb because Justin Roiland is crazy enough to take Mr. Poopybutthole and run with it and Dan Harmon would absolutely enable the creation of a detailed Mr. Poopybutthole Canon. Probably not but the point is some people especially goons like to explore dumb poo poo and extract, infer, and take everything to its logical conclusion and run it the gently caress into the ground and if they wanna do that fine, you don't have to, and shouldnt, involve yourself in those conversations.

I would like to answer this question.

If you try to wear a cartoon t-shirt in hopes of connecting with people, or just use pop culture to bond with strangers in general, then you should probably stop watching television and get a personality.
