The Rugrats really were a figment of Angelica's Demonic and Unimaginable imagination.

Chuckie died in 1986 along with his mother, that's why Chaz is a nervous wreck all the time.

Tommy was born in 1988, but he was a stillborn, that's why Stu is constantly in the basement making toys for the son who never had a chance to live.

The DeVilles had an abortion in 1990, Angelica couldn't figure whether it would be a boy or a girl thus creating the twins.

As for "All Grown Up" the teenage Angelica became addicted to various narcotics which further aggravated her Schizophrenia, bringing her back to her childhood and thus her creations she obsessed over, because of time lapse between the present and the last time she interacted with her creations, she made them older. Angelica was constantly taking hits of acid, so she would never have to live without her creations who were her only company. In a judgmental world, Angelica's mom actually died of a heroine overdose in 1982 just after Angelica was born, and Drew in his depression married a gold digging whore that Angelica idolized because she fooled herself into thinking it was her real mom but always had a concept of her mom, Cynthia, and took a barbie doll and made it after her mom's image, wearing an unwashed orange dress and having jacked up hair, which is why she was so attached to it. Later in life she followed in her mom's footsteps with drugs and everything, dying of overdose at age 13 when All Grown Up! was "cancelled".

The only rugrat not to be fictional however, was unborn Tommy's brother Dil. However, Angelica didn't know the difference between Dil and her creations, although Dil didn't follow her commands. After endless crying and a refusal to disappear like the others did when Angelica was angry with them, she hit him. Due to this, he sustained a brain hemorrhage, which resulted in a deformation. As he grew up, his damage only became more evident and by the time he was 9 in "All Grown Up!" he lived as an outcast, being ridiculed for his weirdness and retardation. The immense guilt over this is what led Angelica to her drug use and is what led Angelica to un-create the Rugrats briefly, until her experience with hallucinogenics.

On a trip to Paris to find love, Chaz married a woman named Kira (He was actually going to marry a different woman named Coco, but she just wanted him for his money.) who had a daughter named Kimi that was torn from her because she was a cocaine addict (Angelica imagined her from Kira's stories). He lost his mind after the death of his wife and was in denial that she was ever prostitute. Upon return to America, Chaz and Kira married and she got her greencard. It was actually a really happy and romantic story. Kira continually struggled with addiction, but was relatively happy with her life and Chaz

Suzie was actually Angelica's only friend, who entertained the thought of Angelica's creations, for her sake. Angelica spent the last days of her life in the back of the school cafeteria, imagining friends around her and playing with the lives of her creations.

Angelica Charlotte Pickles is the main antagonist/singer of the series. While this is so, she acts more as an antihero in the films and often sides with the babies at the end, against the films' respective main villains. She is voiced by Cheryl Chase in both Rugrats and All Grown Up!, and is among the series' original characters. She is a spoiled brat and the cousin of Tommy and Dil Pickles. In 2002, TV Guide declared Angelica Pickles 7th in their list of Top 50 Greatest Cartoon Characters of All Time. She is the arch-enemy of Tommy Pickles and the other Rugrats. Her middle name is 'Charlotte', meaning she is named after her mother, Charlotte. She claims to be 'the prettiest, most beautiful kid in the universe' (which she is). Angelica carries her favorite doll Cynthia (a parody of the popular Barbie franchise) around with her almost everywhere, and fills her room with Cynthia merchandise.

Angelica is the bratty yet adorable and very beautiful daughter of Drew and Charlotte Pickles and the mean, rude and ridiculously spoiled older cousin of Tommy and Dil Pickles despite her cuteness and beauty. Angelica's the main antagonist of the series, as she's often seen bullying and making fun of her cousins and their friends. Since she's older than the babies, who can only communicate with each other and Angelica, Angelica herself can communicate with the adults as well as the other Rugrats, which she uses to her advantage most of the time. When the character Susie Carmichael was introduced, she was soon favored among the babies, causing Angelica to start a rivalry with her. She'll say and/or do anything to get what she wants--however, Angelica's bratty behavior often gets the best of her, which results in the adults (usually her parents and/or her Aunt Didi and Uncle Stu) punishing her.

Cookies are Angelica's favorite food, and she refuses to eat most healthy foods. Even though Angelica's often very mean to the younger Rugrats (including Dil), deep down, she really does care about them and is secretly jealous of them and is actually kind of lonely. For example:

Given her mean and bossy personality, Angelica has very few actual friends. Susie, Tommy, Chuckie, Kimi, Phil, Lil and Dil are the closest she has to real friends. Especially in later seasons of the show and in the spin-off series.
Angelica even says once that Susie's the only "grownup friend" she has.
Even though Drew and Charlotte really do love Angelica and spoil her a lot, they don't pay very much attention to her and are generally too busy with work to spend any actual "quality time" with their daughter (more so in Charlotte's case than Drew's).

Angelica also seems to be rather insecure about being so close in age to the younger Rugrats. She's always referring to them as "just babies" and to herself as an adult, despite being only a year older than Chuckie, two years older than Tommy, Kimi and the twins, and only three years older than Dil--in fact, Dil's the only Rugrat who's technically just a baby, as all the others are technically toddlers like Angelica and Susie are.

In the spin-off series All Grown Up!, 13-year-old Angelica's personality has clearly made some minor edits to itself as a part of Angelica's maturity; she now wears her hair down, goes after boys more often (in Rugrats, though, she was shown to have crushes on a few toddler boys), and has outgrown the habit of carrying Cynthia around with her all the time (although in one episode of All Grown Up!, Angelica desperately tried to get Cynthia back because Charlotte gave her away). Still, a few parts of her former personality remain: she's still very mean, spoiled, and bossy, but to a much lesser extent than she previously was. She and Susie are still rivals, but they're more like frenemies than actual enemies, but Angelica is obviously still very envious of Susie, mainly because of her being more talented than Angelica at most things (especially singing).

While Angelica was portrayed as having a terrible singing voice in the original, in the spin-off, it's shown that Angelica does have a decent voice, but she's better at singing in a group than as a soloist.

Angelica is mostly a peach color. The character wears a purple jumper, a long-sleeved orange-red blouse with flared cuffs, blue and green polka-dotted tights, orange socks, and purple sneakers. She wore a diaper over her tights during season one. She also has blond hair, always worn in two pigtails tied with purple ribbons.

Angelica has appeared in most episodes of Rugrats and All Grown Up!. Her first appearance was in Tommy's First Birthday. Her last appearance in the Rugrats series was in the episode Fountain of Youth, with her final appearance in All Grown Up! being Bad Blood.

Angelica's the only Rugrat to remain an only child throughout the franchise.
Tommy and Dil are brothers.
Chuckie and Kimi are step siblings.
Phil and Lil are fraternal twins.
Susie has two older brothers and an older sister.
Timmy McNulty has four younger brothers.
One of the few times where Angelica's expressed a desire to have a sibling was in The Stork and the only time where she's genuinely saddened by the fact that she's an only was in Sister Act. Every other time, Angelica usually expresses her thankfulness on being an only child.
Angelica is such a spoiled brat in The Original Era that her actions become menacing and villainous, whilst in The Revival Era, that edge seem to have slipped away to cater more for the younger audiences. Her brattiness was still there, though never in the same light to match the Original's.
Angelica is one in three of the main Rugrats characters to have the camera viewed from inside her mouth in All Grown Up!. The other two are Dil and Spike.
Angelica is in seventh grade at school.
She hates coconuts and baked apples.
In the life-size doll versions of Angelica, she is shown to have brown eyes.
In All Grown Up! Angelica has been seen as a 4-5, and 9 year old
Angelica has grown less mean towards the kids in All Grown Up!
Although she is not seen in the episode, Angelica is mentioned by Tommy near the very end of Golden Boy.
