So living in America, a common opinion for a while at least was that America is the best country in the world. These days many americans disagree and I'm sure people outside the U.S. scoff at the notion. Although if you asked someone in Colombia they might well say Colombia which is the same thing, saying your own country is the best.

I know there's a million variables and this is really an impossible question to answer when you try to factor in ALL the variables. America does have a ton of unique incredible qualities and also many well publicized negatives.
