At a guess the gist of it seems to be he didn't get a fair trial because the media shat on him before he was actually convicted, which is okay-ish legal grounds. They're also trying to poo poo on one of the witnesses because they got paid to accuse the guy on TV before she was a prosecution witness, which is kinda dodgy-looking to a court but really kinda falls into the camp of "If she was making it up the court would really destroy her but given that it was all true it's kinda not gonna give a poo poo" Standard disclaimer not a law talky person for realz
