Having owned my E36 for nearly 2 years now this answer is totally warranted except that it meets both standards of being held in high esteem and a dumpster fire. It seems the more practical application of these cars is to be a cheap track rat that gets gutted. That way less stuff breaks.

Question 5: On the topic of cars from the 1980s, there are a number of cars from that era (Buick Grand National, Porsche 911, E30 M3 to name a few) that are rapidly appreciating in value on the collector market. I think this non-supercar from the 1980s could follow those three in that trend.

Question 6: When we're all fat and smug and doddering around the Last-Ever Barrett-Jackson Car Auction of 2056, this non-supercar that's on sale today will fetch the highest bid of all.

The real killer is that if you do track them, then even more "solved" issues pop up. Namely the failure prone rear lower control arms and shifter bushings causing moneyshifts.

Also struts up front is lol.

I am too old and I hosed up that question. For some reason I read "80s" and drew from '70s cars in my head. Hence the reason for my "Trans Am" answer. If I had a properly functioning brain, for that question I would have answered "Countach."

OK I made a couple mistakes; they will be fixed.

On the other hand if you don't like how I grouped the answers, I really don't loving care what you think. I group them as they come in; if for example you say "50th Anniversary Ford Mustang", you're not going in with the generic Mustang answers because you were perhaps overly specific.
