From the last thread but:Instant Sunrise posted:just get a shield tv and put retroarch on it, that's the same thing but cheaper n64 emulation is hot garbage and I'll probably continue avoiding it until it gets better

If you want to play anything even remotely obscure? forget it. Mak0rz posted:It's cool if you want to play all the marios and zeldas and banjo-kazooies Nah Banjo-Tooie actually has a game-crippling issue with random crashes that's only remotely avoidable if you run it on an outdated version of 1964 with a weirdly specific set of plugins, one of which screws up the Jiggy Wiggy Challenge graphics. Even then it still fucks up sometimes, it just has a smaller chance of freezing up less than ten minutes into playing it than it does otherwise. theultimo posted:Yeah something like Bangai-o is almost unplayable. Thankfully the Dreamcast version of Bangai-O works pretty much perfectly on NullDC, and that's kind of the one you really want.

sometimes I feel compelled to buy a game too early so I can discus it with the community but I prefer being a good consumer so much more I only broke my "1 month after release" rule once or twice, tops.
