basically the american state is so militarized and violent to its own people that any outpourings of revolutionary emotion come in the form of rage killings, single events that are chalked down to being one-offs. these just need to be directed at the rich instead of whatever random people end up getting shot.

Poetic Justice posted:they are called dead end jobs for a reason. you know that this will lead to a rise in wages for everyone, including EMTs right? Like a minimum wage of 15 dollars an hour will force jobs that are more specialised/skillful than fast food to raise their wages because otherwise people won't do them so market pressure means EMTs will still earn more than burger flippers, but everyone will actually be able to afford to subsist.
