The major problem with classical music is that it has been hijacked by the middle class, turning what could be a rewarding and challenging musical genre for many people into something only enjoyed by preening, pretentious twats. If you want to see the worst loving kind of people watch the Last Night of the Proms. If I was a musician performing I would want to kill every single one of them in the most violent way possible.
