Not to mention desperate poors can have a iphone for $33 a month.

total cost after two years is $749 and Apple has the added bonus of being able to sell the used phone for a few hundred after the lease is over.

Credit for consumer goods (that are not a car) are so drat bad.
I recently sold something on ebay and got to talk to the buyer (lives in the same city).
No school, no Job, looked quite broke.
This guy has 3 brand new iPhones, all on contract.
Didn't ask him why he needed 3 expensive phones as dealers usually use cheap burners.

lmbo there's an episode of Undercover Boss that takes place at a casino resort and one of the waitresses complains about her job because of what a POS their POS device is because it's slow and freezes and needs to reboot all the time, and sure enough it's a Windows Mobile device lol

I even found the episode and linked to the exact time:
