It could've been a bug; I've read that during the conversation you can't close the game without using the Task Manager, but the close button worked for me. Then again, I found that on the Undertale wiki, so who knows how accurate that tidbit is.

I've just started playing this. I know sparing bosses is obviously a plot affecting thing, and from the first little section in the snowy forest I know that the unique enemies (like the married dogs) showed up again at the Grill later. I was curious if anything changes at all from killing the random encounter enemies that you see several of the same enemy with? (Other than going or the pure pacifist or whatever it's called ending)

But you really do seem quite upset about a skeleton in an ironic sweater. Maybe you should do something you like? I'm not saying you deserve a red text avatar for that because it's a pretty innocuous thing to say in the grand scheme of things compared to stuff like that guy who posted fetish art of toriel as a blanket, but that post pretty much makes it sound like you were looking up undertale porn and calling it cute, man

And that it was good that people were mostly separating it out like that? But apparently I'm now a notorious smut-merchant. That's kinda cool, I guess? Although all the other evidence he dragged up was characters saying 'frick' or dressing up in ironic sweaters? Edit: Someone bought me another red title earlier claiming I raped an underage girl at AGDQ. The Undertale one is their second attempt.

Oh yeah, I totally called it: On the final day of the Steam sale, Undertale cleared 800,000 units sold. Wouldn't be surprised if word of mouth and inertia keeps it going so that it'll clear 1 million by the end of January. Toby has been sounding worried on Twitter that Undertale has kinda outgrown him and is a force unto itself. Hope he's okay and doesn't have to deal with too many rabid fans. Tumblr has its usual share of idiots who aggressively cling to their favourite thing and snarl at anyone that gets close to it.

Raserys posted:I eagerly look forward to Undertale appearing on Top 10 Games You Didn't Know Were Actually Horrifying lists and video game creepypasta in the future I don't think a game like Undertale can really support creepypasta. Between Flowey, the genocide run, and Gaster, there isn't anything you could add that would be creepier than what the game already has. The big scare in most creepypasta stories is when the game address the player instead of the player character. Undertale already does this.
