I double dog dare you motherfucker. It's impossible. They aren't the greatest band of all time but their hit/miss ratio is redic.

I'd say Zep and CCR are equal, Zep's good songs are awesome and all but their bad stuff just about brings the average down to the solid 7 that is CCR

Eh the Zep gets boring. They have some really cool rock out moments, but why not just make the whole song the good part eh?

I'm only vaguely familiar with their famous singles so I'm listening to Cosmo's Factory now. First song was great, I'll keep everyone updated. edit: tracks 2, 3 and 4 are all pretty bad. Just generic jumpy blues rock. Ooby dooby ooby dooby ooby dooby. edit: it picks back up from track 5 onward with the heard it through the grapevine cover a stand out. Nothing lives up to the promise of Ramble Tamble though. 3.5/5 Ratios and Tendency fucked around with this message at 07:05 on Sep 15, 2015 |

You literally cannot. John Fogerty is a goddamn legend. Pretty much every CCR song was a hit.

I've never really listened to them, but their last album had a bunch of songs that were written and sung by the other band members that really aren't supposed to be very good.

Yeah, that entire album is utter crap start to finish. Fogarty himself said many times that his band got big heads, "though they were The Beatles" and demanded to have their songs on the album. He pretty much checked out of the band about that point. The CCR/Zeppelin comparo is apt; both bands have been overplayed to death on the radio to the point where I hate them both with the fire of a thousand suns.
