Aside from gender dysphoria, are there any other diagnoses whereby the course of treatment involves everyone else affirming the dysphoria and abiding by it? Like I'm imagining an elderly person with paranoid dementia, and the recommended treatment is to validate their belief that their long-dead spouse hid their medication.
