Tribalism still keeps loving the native american tribes that still roll with it. The tribes that integrated into modern society and did poo poo like start banks and just have their ancestry just be a novel point of intrest all are thriving. Because on native american reservations the tribal leader always plays favorites. So if you fix up your house nice the chief or whatver can force you to give up your place to his friends or cronies or else you're exiled. That's why nobody really fixes poo poo on reservations, because the moment something looks nice it gets taken away from them..
