When I was younger I thought Heat was overlong and boring, couldn't even make it through the whole thing. After years of drinking and personal growth (some might argue regression), etc, I rewatched it and thought it was amazing. Not sure what that says though.

proof of concept posted:al pachino is such an unconvincing tough guy haha even in scarface the whole deal was he was a teeny little tinyman constantly overcompensating to an absurd degree like he has some pretty good burns but when he tells the guy "how about i show you the inside of an ambulance?" we dont know to laugh because its tom cruise and hes definately not an intimidating looking dude
