Its more like a refinement of the monotheistic ideal. Judaism is strictly monotheistic but inherently tribal, specific to a "chosen people." Christianity expands the franchise to all of humankind, but dilutes the monotheism with the concept of the Trinity and the dual nature of Jesus as Son of God. Islam is a more austere form monotheism which is not limited to a specific group of people.

In terms of Worst Religion it seems pretty clear that the one and two spots go to Islam and Christianity, but Hinduism makes a strong third-place showing.
