riveting hammers are the bomb if u actually gotta set solid rivets, set the head real fast with the flat face and then flip to the chisel peen to spread it out a bit in a controlled way if u gotta, flip back to smooth the face and make it pretty

I think about ball peen hammers every time some goon is all like "I will smash the poo poo out of [something] with a [some kind of] hammer". It's ALWAYS a ball peen hammer, no exceptions, I think maybe it's because they don't really know what a peening hammer is and they think it sounds tough or something? There are lots of other hammers out there that are way better at destroying things, goons
