I played Quake 3 with a trackball back in the day. No joystick. It was, not as bad as you'd expect once you got used to it, but a proper mouse is still superior.

The DM looked like a hoot just because of the sheer amount of fuckery going on between you 3. And the bullshit instances. All that C4. Also the hilarious "no it's a custom map guys!! John Romero wouldn't make something this bad" insistence. :-D

DM would have been good if it wasn't for the maps sucking rear end (most of the official maps are acceptable, we got really unlucky) and for the C4 Vizatergo being OP as gently caress. E2 doesn't have any C4 equivalent but there is one weapon in E2 that will probably make DM a big mess.

 I don't usually like to attach posts to the videos but I feel like I need to for this one. This is probably the most important episode in the whole LP, it's both the longest and worst level in the game and everything imaginable goes wrong in the worst way possible. I get that the 45 minute length is intimidating but you really do want to watch this one through to the end. Second, I do have the next video all ready to go but because of my finals and other issues it might be a while after that one goes up before we can the E2DM and E3M1 videos up. Third, ETA on The Stalin Subway is Eventually.

Does the daikatana stop hoovering XP once its fully levelled up, or is it set to permanently halt any stat growth the MC has whenever he uses it?

So you get it up to level 5 when it's actually useful and... then you don't want to use it because it steals your levels. What a horrible weapon.
