I haven't used Usenet for actual discussion or communication purposes for ages (lol who has) but if I wanted to and use an actual newreader and not Google Groups I would still use an older version of Forte Agent (like an early 2000's version) since the the latest version is geared towards binaries (which is understandable since that's the only thing Usenet is really used for these days, which is somewhat depressing).
