Well, yeah, it's a Loren Bouchard show.

I think this is my favorite tri-partite episode they've done; I don't usually like them as much as regular episodes.

I'm ok if they are once a season kind of things.

The MLB playoffs are on Fox Sports 1 until the World Series, when it goes to Fox. That means less episodes of every show on Sunday for a week or two. But Bob's Burgers was shelved this week for a loving NFL postgame show.

I know that Bob's Burgers being at the 7:30 slot isn't as bad as I thought it used to be because King of the Hill was in that time slot for a while, but I still get pissy when I see The OT in its place. Is there any good reason why Brooklyn Nine-Nine or The Last Man On Earth can't move to another day?

Because you don't do comedies in half hour blocks only. They would need a new comedy to go with the one that moves.

Also, Last Man on Earth is very niche, and would not survive on a night with more competition. Also, moving niche comedies to a different time-slot is not a guarantee that the audience will follow (Arrested Development season 3 was moved, and we know how that season ended). Here, if it does well enough against Sunday Night Football, it's a success. Another thing is in the spring, that slot will have Bordertown, and they want their animated series bunched up together.

Brooklyn 99 could probably move, but last week it was the silver second highest rated show in Fox's Sunday night lineup: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/20...ootball/473898/
You would not move Brooklyn-99 unless you were going to use it to build a new comedy block on a different night.

I don't think Loren Bouchard minds, and if he does, then he's being more quiet about it than Mike Judge was with King of the Hill.

It's still annoying to see that unless you're Seth MacFarlene, one of his lieutenants, or The Simpsons, you have no place on Fox Sunday nights. Didn't Last Man on Earth get screwed over as well?

It's still on, they are just on break while they air Bordertown eps. Since Bordertown will probably be a one season wonder, they should be back on the air soon.

I liked it. Gene episodes are always kind of weird unless there's a big dramatic musical number, and the B-Plots were kind of underwhelming but I still enjoyed it.

I think that since it's a Gene episode (and he's hit or miss with a lot of people) and that we've had near consecutive holiday episodes since the season premiere is starting to turn a lot of people off . When it comes to regular episodes it shakes things up, but with holiday episodes it comes down to "how is Thanksgiving going to get almost ruined" "how is Christmas going to get almost ruined" "how is Valentine's going to get almost ruined."

The good news is that there should be no more holiday episodes this season so come back in a few months to see if it floats your boat again.

Also, I've only liked one Gene and Courtney episode. Courtney just does not work with me as a character.

Sexy Dance healing looks interesting.

I'd recommend going to LA goons, I had a lot of fun when they came to DC. Also, ask about the soundtrack. They do take fan questions.

EDIT - That April 29th show sold out, so apparently they are doing another show at the same place on the 30th.

I'm kinda on board with this opinion. It feels like this season has been less dependent on laughs through situations involving the characters and more on laughs through one-liners. It's not bad, but this season has felt lacking at times.

I'm kind of feeling that as well. I'm hoping that once we finish the season 5 holdovers the season picks up a bit.
