I've said all along that they were likely to renew it. The ratings are good enough and stable no matter where they move it. They know they have an audience and they know they probably can't put together a freshman show right now that does better. Bob's is a sure thing right now, so it makes sense.

Nothing is scheduled for next week due to the world series and Bob's Burgers did their halloween Episode last week, so it's their turn off of the schedule so that Family Guy can do their episode.

It's just football, X-Files doesn't really enter into it since it's airing at 10pm for one sunday only. Actually, I wonder how they are getting away with that since 10pm is typically the local news spot.
