Anyhoo, glad he's gone, Klopp or de Boer seem obvious choices to replace him, hope they get someone in quickly.

Anyone who actually goes to matches knows the atmosphere is totally flat - the money men want to pack the ground with tourists buying a package, the age profile is also worrying BR has bought a huge number of average players in the last two Summer transfer windows and was too arrogant in ignoring the obvious - defensive organisation, weakness at fullback, constant changes in system, lack of width, failure to move the ball quickly enough etc etc We all think we could do a better job ourselves, but the final indication he had to go was giving Ings his debut at LWB Discipline and team spirit are the key requirements so we need to select a no nonsense motivator - Carra has more sense and his face wouldn't fit with FSG (yet) so Klopp is likely our best bet

Having grown up through the years when we didn't sack managers, I am very uncomfortable with this 5 managers in 5 years period we are currently in. Hopefully this is the end of that and we get some stability. I do think todays decision was the correct one for the long term future though.
